PODCAST Baby Brain with Kiah – Teaching our kids to tidy up

How can we make tidying up fun, and something our kids will want to get involved in? In this podcast, I chat with Hannah & Emma from Baby Brain about teaching toddlers and kids to tidy up!

We discuss the importance of organisation and packing away routines.

I share some tips for making cleaning and tidying fun and how you can incorporate games into tidying up.

Kiah loves setting up your family with  great tidying routines to encourage a calming organised space for everyone to enjoy!

Its so nice to be invited to share my thoughts on a podcast, and one of my favourite topics came up. How even toddlers can learn to tidy up?!

I meet many parents that think their children are too young to understand how to pack up and maintain order.

But the truth is, toddlers naturally love routine and copying what they see. They love to mimic!

By introducing simple, playful systems early on. If we can teach them not just to put toys away, but also to value their space and stuff.

In my work as a professional organiser. I’ve seen how empowering it is when kids are given the tools to participate.

If you invest into some clear tubs with labels on them. And make tidying apart of playtime, it will all help.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about building habits that grow with them.

Decluttering isn’t only for adults. It’s a skill children can carry into every stage of life.

And when the whole family gets involved, the home feels calmer for everyone.
